JA Parent Support Network launched: 2018
JA Parent Support Network Leader: Jennifer
About this JA Parent Support Network:
To help support parents who have a child with rheumatic disease understand ways of improving their child’s life with pain and help educate them about the disease. JA Parent Support Networks let individuals know that they are not alone and gives them a voice to share with others.
My name is Jennifer I was diagnosed with arthritis at age 10. My daughter also has JA. So many years I went without other people who could relate to what I am struggling through. I want to be able to share with others in our area that feel like they have hit their brick wall that they can get past it and help them find their own voice to become the best advocate for their child and family. I have the unique position of providing support as an adult living with JA.
